Welcome to the linux on HiNote forum

Welcome to the forum for asking questions about how to install and use
the GNU/Linux operating system (or *BSD for that matter) on Digital
HiNote laptops.

I make no claim of being able to answer all questions, but at least I
was able to install debian GNU/linux on it, get suspend/resume
working, get X configured, encounter both the crazy mouse symptom, and
the "X freezing up symtom", and finding solutions to both.

But more on that later.
