How do I run sshd manually with debug turned on?

However, before you spend any time answering, I have compared beta1 with
rc1, and when I try to run /usr/sbin/sshd on RC1, I get the message
libmd.so.0 not found, but on beta 1 I get a different message, about a full
path being needed. Am I missing a library? If so how do I add it>

Thanks,

Tim
