I finally got it up and running and commited a little comment about the 
Endoint usage in the model wg0.conf we are installing.

There appears not to be any documentation on how to configure shorewall 
should be configured correctly. I looked into the settings for a generic 
VPN tunnel and I believe that is the way to do it, else we might need to 
define a new tunnel type wireguard.
