I'm afraid that the hostap driver included in WISP-Dist is not 
compatible with standards-based WDS. You need to upgrade the driver to 
a new version.

The reason why I didn't upgrade the driver is due to the fact that I 
have found later releases to be less stable. Maybe the situation is 
different now.
