[leaf-wisp] Community Backbone

I changed the message subject to reflect this topic.

I too am attempting to design a free community network.  The internet feed will come 
from a local university.  The backbone hardware is Soekris 4521.  There will be 1, 2, and 
3 radio nodes.

I have the Wisp-Dist node that connects to the wired world working well, with dhcp, NAT 
and nocat gateway.  I am at the point of trying to branch out from the wired node into a 
wireless network. You seem ahead of me in design and are obviously more 
knowledgable.  I am hoping for some pointers that will save me from a lot of 
experimenting.

What type of routing are you using?  I am hoping to use dynamic routing to make it easier 
for new nodes to join in.

My current plan is to test zebra/ospf and/or rip routing on a bench by connecting the 
ethernet ports (using crossover cables) of several 4521s together.  If I can dynamically 
route a chain of ethernet ports, I should be able to substitute radios for ethernet ports in 
the resulting config.  

Have you already been down this road? If so, I will throw some config questions at you.  If 
not, are you interested in what I come up with?
