[leaf-wisp] Zebra Question

Does anyone know if it is necessary to specify the IP addresses of interfaces in 
zebra.conf.

I see many examples with only the interface named and no IP address.  For example:

interface eth0

I am wondering if zebra will automatically obtain the IP address for a given interface.
