You can use the IP command instead of IFCONFIG. So you can type: ip link set up dev ath0 or something along those lines. You should be able to "man ip" on your desktop for the man page. -Herb -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ty Christensen Sent: Thursday, February 03, 2005 12:19 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [leaf-wisp] WRAP mobo w/Ath card activation So, I give up, how am I supposed to enable an Atheros-based Mini-PCI card in Wisp-Dist. All of the documentation on MadWiFi that I read basically stated you had to use ifconfig to bring the interface up. Since there is no ifconfig binary in Wisp-Dist, how is this supposed to help me? Any help appreciated.
