I use the bw control globally on almost all of our wisp-dist boxes ( over. 
400  )

but one thing I have not figured out yet.   I tried to set the bandwidth 
limit on a specific IP address.  If I am MASQ'ing or SNAT'ing, the limit 
works on the inbound traffic ( download to the LAN side ) but does not work 
on the outbound traffic.

eth0:  ip address: 192.168.0.1/24  -- LAN
netcs0: ip address:  172.16.0.1/24 -- WAN

MASQ is set on netcs0

Host computer: ip address 192.168.0.10

set_shaper 192.168.0.10  128kbit 1110

I run a download test and I get 128Kbit
I run an upload test and I get well over the 128 limit  ( I have over 1Mbit 
available at this location )

I remember reading somewhere that masquerading or snat'ing breaks the 
traffic control

Is there a way around this?  I would like to install some routers with 
multiple interfaces ( a 4 port servicing 3 customers ) where I can control 
both the upload and download for each customer.  Right now, I have to set 
the WAN interface speed and let all the customer share that upload bandwidth 
between them.

Any ideas?
