[leaf-wisp] Image building problem

I tried to build an image on slackware 10.1, 8.1, SuSe 9.0 but it wont 
build.

I've been following the instruction from leaf-project.org. Found on the 
mailing list later that it can't be built on kernel 2.4 and glibc 2.2.2 
so i don't understand why it doesn't compile on slackware 8.1 ?
Slack 8.1 uses kernel 2.4.18 and glic 2.2.5. I can send you the output 
and the errors. Thx
