Hi, all.

After ~25 hours I finally got WebKitGTK-2.50.4 built and installed on
my Linux From Scratch 12.4.

jhalfs "thinks" the installed WebKitGTK's version is 2.48.5.

What should I do?

In order to use my LFS daily, I need some external packages: GNU Cash
(Free Accounting Software), po4a (to render the {B}LFS XMLs) and
poedit (to edit some Portable Object files).

I am facing some issues, as poedit requires wxWebView (a component
from wxWidgets) to build. See log at <https://pastebin.com/0ZMAbgTG>.

wxWidgets requires WebKitGTK to build wxWebView. See log at
<https://pastebin.com/SrJXq0Eb>.

So, poedit requires both, wxWidgets _and_ WebkitGTK to build.

Even with WebKitGTK-2.50.4 (I have chosen the GTK-4 version of
WebKitGTK) installed, wxWidgets _fails to find it_ and, in
consequence, disables wxWebView, which gets poedit fails too.

I have found many references of people suggesting to install developer
packages of the wxWidgets. Nobody seems to know how to proceed in the
{B}LFS environment.

What should I do?
