Comment (by pierre):

 Done a full build of BLFS (without tests) with gjs-1.88.0. I've run the
 tests for mutter, gnome-shell, and gjs itself though. Gnome-49 seems to be
 running ok, so I propose to update the book (will wait until somebody
 answers though).
