 More information and progress for this update exists here:
 https://github.com/glfs-book/slfs/issues/616. Waiting on SceneFX to adapt,
 and Mango alongside it. Wayfire already has adaption via patches, but
 would break SLFS which I don't want to do. Review for
 https://github.com/wlrfx/scenefx/pull/184 is pending, but looks promising
 thus far. A review will give more ideas on what needs fixing or if it's
 good. After the review, I'll probably patch SceneFX and go ahead with this
 update.
