Mesa 24.3 isn't even released yet.  Considering the bug rate of such a
"git HEAD" is much higher than an official release, what you are
encountering may be just a bug which is covered up by -D legacy-
x11=dri2, instead of a real dependency on DRI2.

Also Mesa x.y.0 releases are considered unstable, so we'll only upgrade
to 24.3 when 24.3.1 is released because BLFS is on leading edge, not
bleeding edge.

Please report your finding to the Mesa developers at
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues if there's not an
existing report.
