For a device that somone would wish to use for an LFS host to build LFS I'd suggest the following:
Within the ISO, include the following:
The BOOK.
Number 1: The thing is to include the book. Without the book it is useless. May as well use another host distro livecd>
Number 2: Include the source:
THis will put this into the DVD ISO area as CD_R's are limited, you can overburn but ya gonna be stuck at the 650MB mark.
Number 3: Include some tools on the livecd to rescue the system. Since ya can't fit it all on a livecd, and it needs to be a livedvd, unless ya know some secrets we don't know, trust me, you don't know, then put them on there. Other than that, ya good to go, just my treatments for the livecd if you go with this. Most say live usb or sticks, I say they sticks themselves and I won't go there. Half of them don't even know what a stick is. So just give them that, and all should be okay.
Number 4: as long as Number 1 2 3 are satisfied, add whatever ya want. X or some other... have at it, used to we were limited to CD ROM's, then DVD's, then that got too big, if you got a blu ray burner, have at it. add whatever whataveh ya went, but keep it in the means of the user you plan to use. Don't go past that. Period.
