I updated from libblockdev-2.26 where --with-smartmontools wasn't a config-option. But I have smartmontools installed and as --with-smartmontools=yes is the default for libblockdev-3.3.1, it wanted to have json-glib-1.0 now as well. Sorry for the noise!
