You probably mean that the message doesn't end with a period.  Alright,
I see your point.  But if said grammar rules require the period to be
within the quote (and you  want to strictly adhere to those rules), then

"net/ftp is not found."

would still be correct and still better readable than the current form.

I think that my browser (Firefox) is OK.  But perhaps my eyes are "buggy
or misconfigured?"  Look, I just stumbled across this thing and my
suggestion was intended as a constructive contribution.  But if such are
not wanted (anymore) or are perceived as unduly criticism, it's probably
better to waste my time in more rewarding ways.
