This is something I definitely do NOT want to do.  The issue is with Desktop 
Environments (DEs) not the system itself.  It appears to me that the issue will not 
affect XFCE.  I'm not sure about lxqt.

It will take some time, but I think we may be able to come up with other alternatives 
for the large DEs.
