Hi Rainer,

I agree, the corporate interests value complexity, it makes it harder 
for devs and users to understand the underlying technology, so they can 
sell their support services. The slow death of tldp.org and the 
increasing complexity of distros using SystemD/GNOME/XFCE made me 
rethink my computing needs and develop a reductionist attitude, the less 
software on my LFS/BLFS GNU/Linux systems the better, and the more focus 
I have become.
