On closer inspection: not quite a verbatim copy, with different markup,
of FHS 3.0 content.

The "bugtracker" URI has changed, vis:

< should be filed as bugs. The bugtracker is at http://bugs.linuxfoundation.org - use the category FHS.
---
> should be filed as bugs. The bugtracker is at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/FHS/fhs-spec/-/issues (https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/FHS/fhs-spec/-/issues)

but that does appear to be the sole "content change".

Would have been "nice" if the Freedesktop folk had made their version 3.0.1,
so that it did flag up that there was a change, but, hey ho.

Presumably, if the linuxfoundation.org bugtracker is no longer "monitored",
(which the Freedesktop folk don't make any statement about, so we're all in
the dark as to whether they are the cannonical location now) then that would
be a reason to alter the reference to the FHS in the Books, although I'd still
suggest altering the Books to point to the single page rendering, or at least
making mention of it.
