I'm the one who normally maintains sendmail for us, but I wouldn't be 
opposed to dropping it if everyone is in favor. I would however prefer 
to at least keep Exim, as postfix is a bit overkill for local mail 
delivery! Sendmail definitely is challenging to configure, and it would 
save me a couple hours every tagging cycle.
