<Figured I would get Gnome starting from the prompt before installing gdm or
<others.

<I'm using systemd LFS all latest packages. Some errors concern keyring but
<the problem seems to lie with a session id.

cliffy [ ~ ]$ loginctl list-sessions
SESSION  UID USER   SEAT  LEADER CLASS   TTY  IDLE SINCE
     c1 1000 cliffy seat0 3290   user    tty1 no   -
          c2 1000 cliffy -     3337   manager -    no   -

 cliffy [ ~ ]$ loginctl list-seats
 SEAT
 seat0
 1 seats listed.
