Thanks for the patch.

Looking at it, I'd suggest a sed could be used to change all
occurrences of "uabs" to "g_uabs". Something like:
grep -rl 'uabs(' | xargs sed -i 's/uabs/g_&/'
But I have no way to test ATM, sorry...
