Hi,

So I guess I got to my first big milestone in BLFS, the MESA package, I was following Kernotex Youtube Playlist for BLFS 12.0 as a reference (also its LFS series) but between BLFS 12.0 and BLFS 12.3 which was the version when I started building my BLFS and now BLFS 12.4 things are different.

I'm aming for LXQT as the desktop environment to support Openbox as the window manager an GDM as the display manager for now.

You guys seem to have lots of experience building BLFS and I was wondering if you can share any tips or advices on how to start building MESA, after reading and trying to make a basic depencies tree I came with the following secuence:

Xorg libraries (and the previous packages before MESA in 24. Graphical Enviroments have been installed already)

dbus  (already installed)
Cairo
Glib
cmake
pytest
curl
Libdrm-2.4.124
fuse
mako
git
doxygen
pyyaml
Glslang-15.1.0
libva-2.22.0
Graphviz-12.2.1
LLVM-19.1.7
wayland-protocols-1.40
libclc-19.1.7
Vulkan-Loader-1.4.304
Cbindgen-0.28.0
Mesa-24.3.4

Will this work as a good starting point for a system that's using an old AMD GPU? I'm already aware that LXQT requires the whole Xorg Chapter and I have also installed the required BLOBS for the GPU and made the corresponding Kernel changes for this with success.
