"I don't know" means I'm not pretty sure if this should be considered
the package requests the functionality of gdb, or the user requests the
functionality of gdb.  The examples are just something I can quickly
come up with.

And it's just "I don't know."  I don't mean I already consider it
shouldn't be done.

Another similar question: should we say lld is an optional dependency of
GCC because GCC supports -fuse-ld=lld and that will fail without lld?
