It looks like npth-config is no longer installed by default as of 
npth-1.7 (see https://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/ticket/19353)

We'll get it removed from the Installed Programs section of the page in 
the book, as nothing else seems to use it. Thank you for the report!
