Hi-
Just did my roughly-annual (B)LFS reinstall and Firefox (compiled
with ALSA) won't play sound. ALSA itself is working, since mpg123
plays fine. But, when I attempt to play a video with sound in
Firefox, I get errors like:
ALSA lib pcm.c:8865:(snd_pcm_set_params) [error.pcm] Sample format not
available for PLAYBACK: Invalid argument
This seems to be saying that there's an audio codec missing; but not
sure I should believe that. And, if I should, any way to track down
what it is?
