Dear Doug,

This is indeed sad news.  I always appreciated and valued Ken's support 
of the LFS/BLFS community on the mailing lists.  As a TeXLive user 
myself, I greatly appreciate the effort Ken put into documenting how to 
build the package from source.

RIP Ken, you will be missed.
