In the book BLFS 12.4, it appears that the URL in the text from which we download Fontconfig has an erroneous underscore "_" or space.: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/api/v4/projects/890/packages/generic/fontconfig/2.17.1/fontconfig-2.17.1.tar.xz.
