This is a multi-part message in MIME format... ------------=_1774021827-1253-17418 Content-Language: en-US, de-DE Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hallo list, was there some significant change from openssh 10.0 to 10.2 regarding=20 login with ssh-agent active? Whenever I try to connect remotey I get denied with the error message "# unknown answer from ssh agent". This even happens when the agent has no keys loaded. The only way to=20 avoid it is not running the agent and logging in with password. It seems to occur both with the openssh agent and the windows putty=20 agent (pageant). Also I noticed the default location for the ssh-agent communication=20 socket has changed from /tmp/ssh-*/* to ~/.ssh/agent/s.* (this one is=20 documented in the 10.1 release notes earlier). This adds the requirement=20 that the ssh-agent has to clean up stale sockets instead of the OS doing=20 it automatically for /tmp, and the socket name contains some truncated=20 hashed hostname (e.g. for NFS filesystems). Stay healthy, Thomas --=20 Do you wanna be a legend or a passing footprint on the sands of time? ------------=_1774021827-1253-17418 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit MIME-Version: 1.0 -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/sympa/info/blfs-support Unsubscribe: See the above information page ------------=_1774021827-1253-17418--
