But my resol= v.conf is set to read only anyways. So that will not change anything. I tri= ed and it still gave the network unreachable message from ping. My /etc/resolv.conf is set to a safe default: nameserver 1.1.1.1 nameserver 1.0.0.1 nameserver 8.8.8.8 nameserver 8.8.4.4 I don't think it is a DNS issue, as my wlan0 is reportedly "DOWN".
