#5783: Move libsigsegv from BLFS to LFS

Reporter: Bruce Dubbs | Owner: Bruce Dubbs
Type: enhancement | Status: assigned
Priority: normal | Milestone: 12.5
Component: Book | Version: git

Comment (by Xi Ruoyao):
Hmm should we reconsider this?
For gawk:
{{{
Changes from 5.2.x to 5.3.0
---------------------------
1. Infrastructure changes: Removed the use of libsigsegv. The
value-add was never very much and it caused problems in some
environments.
}}}
For grep:
{{{
--with-libsigsegv use the GNU libsigsegv library, when present,
instead of the gnulib module 'sigsegv'
}}}
and this option isn't enabled by default. Why is libsigsegv better than
the gnulib module?
m4 is same as grep.
