The question is not which distro but which one supports your laptop 
hardware.

I have a HP with Slackware 13.37 32bit because AMD Vision drivers are 32bit.

To run a 64bit software is possible with a vesa driver but no 3D.

Go to Distrowatch.com for more choices.
