That's a walk down memory lane. I remember those old days well and I 
remember working with you as well. The old PPC version has been 
immortalized in the "Museum" (one version being 2.4.2 at 
http://archive.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs-museum/2.4.2/LFS-BOOK-PPC-2.4.2-HTML/)

Welcome back and good luck on the project you're starting out on. Even 
if it's "just" to re-learn things forgotten, that's always a worthy 
reason to do anything.
