I just saw a comment on blfs-support@ referencing "the *corporate* nature of Linux now (Thanks Novell, Red Hat, Microsoft (they have a huge part now), and Debian)." I'd appreciate if anyone would be willing to share a link or two where I could read more about this. It's very concerning to me to contemplate that microsoft might have a significant involvement in Linux (and yes, I have been living in a cave). Embrace, extend, extinguish? Free bsd? Other choice?
