I have purchased a based on the PL-25A1 chipset.
I'm of the opinion that this path is a better fit for me than using any
thing with an Ethernet cable.
Although a Debian user, I post here as the underlying motivation for LFS
is understanding your system. I'm retired and my avocation is learning
about Linux.
The cable is recognized by Debian Stretch.
I have found relevant bits-n-pieces in manpages and package info.
I'm missing background in:
USB interfacing
networking (in a broad sense)
Suggestions for where to read &/or search terms?
Has anyone here used it to connect tow computers?
I date from era when RS232 null modem cables were SOP ;/
TIA
