Just to pipe in, I agree with this approach. As we work on developing
the SLFS build, we will probably notice areas in which the referenced
links are deficient, and so the text in the tome will be a more complete
reference. That would probably be a good guide as to what order, or when
to replace links with text also- when a reference appears lacking 
something noteworthy, then a rewrite is performed to encompass this.

BTW, I really like the way these discussions are headed, if anything I
am getting even _more_ interested in the project than before!
