LFS is secure for normal use, but not for high profile sites under constant 
abuse. LFS doesn't include any safegaurds. The information to setup a 
hardened system is out there, but not all in one place. HLFS is more for 
someone who is expecting to be attacked (paraniod), instead of someone who 
doesn't think about it. LFS stays current with known security fixes, HLFS is 
more agressive about unknown security vulnerabilities.
