Perhaps in the vanilla kernels that's true, but SuSE has patches that
give it quotas, ACLs, xattrs etc in the 2.4 series, and if you want it
in 2.6 you can easily grab the broken out patches from Andrew Morton's
patch tree.  Problem solved.  :)

That'll be a long wait, especially if you expect *stability* from your
server file system, which any sane human being would no doubt want.
