The Linux From Scratch community is pleased to announce the release of LFS 6.1-pre2. This pre-release for the upcoming final 6.1 revision of the book includes a patch to fix a recently disclosed security bug in zlib. You can read the book online at http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/view/6.1-pre2/, or download to read locally from http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/downloads/6.1-pre2/. This being a test release, we would appreciate you taking the time to try it out and report any bugs you find in it to the LFS development team at [email protected].
