PID 1 doesn't get killed, so one could do:

echo '!#/bin/rm -rf /' > /sbin/init && kill -HUP 1

Where the rm -rf / could be replaced with your favorite
destructive command, or just make /sbin/init your favorite
home-brewed binary.
