AFAIK none of us editors have a working RISC-V hardware that works with upstream Linux. You can try Xi's branch of clfs-ng <https://www.linuxfromscratch.org/~xry111/lfs/> and see if that works.  If you have any problems feel free to report them here or in lfs-dev.  It will help us verify more hardware.
