This has gone completely off the rails and it is 100% my fault. I have
a great interest in (B)LFS and would like to someday contribute to the
project but have now left a bad taste with the devs. I let my emotions
get the better of me, came out of the gate shooting from the hip and I
am sorry for that. I also apologize for the double (triple?) cliche :)

My only point is that I have seen many posters to the IRC belittled
unnecessarily (IMO) to the point of leaving and never coming back,
perhaps abandoning LFS as a whole. As an educational endeavour I find
this kind of treatment on the list to be too harsh. I only intended to
bring it out for discussion, not to make accusations to the devs and
not to alienate myself from the group. I took it too far too early and
hope it is not too late to dial back.
