Hello, I am new here but I decided to post my question here since I couldn't find any answers anywhere else. Recently, I tried to build an LFS system from my laptop just for the fun of it. I followed all the steps as closely as possible and made sure there were no errors in my every step. However, when I got to Chapter 9: Managing Devices and I tried to run the udev script for creating persistent network Interface names, it didn't work. More specifically, it didn't create the expected file. But as the book told me, this was more of an inconvenience rather than a serious problem. So when I was done with the book, I booted into the LFS but when I run ip link to see the name of my wireless Interface Card, it wasn't there. It only listed two things: l0 and sit0@NONE. I could find my WiFi card. Can someone help me? Thanks! -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/sympa/info/lfs-support Unsubscribe: See the above information page
