What should be happening is that the tests succeed:
[...]
PASS: tests/chroot/chroot-credentials.sh
[...]

If they don't, it's likely that you made a mistake somewhere.  I suggest
that you re-check your every step after

"Now the test suite is ready to be run. First, run the tests that are
meant to be run as user root: [...]"
