First of all, apologies if this should be in another list - I saw Bruce put
the notification of rc1 release here, so I figured it was appropriate.

The book warns of bugs in the coreutils patch: Many bugs have been found in
this patch. When reporting new bugs to the Coreutils maintainers, please check
first to see if those bugs are reproducible without this patch.

I have an error during build during patch installation:

can't find file to patch at input line 4128.
diff -Naur -i coreutils-9.10/tests/unexpand/unexpand.pl
coreutils-9.10.patched/tests/unexpand/unexpand.pl.

If I skip patch installation, the build proceeds without issue. This sort of
thing is a little above my paygrade in terms of understanding. Where should I
be looking to see if this is a known issue? Has anyone else tried the build
and had this error?

-Steph
