This sounds eerily similar to the problems we have with 13th and 14th-gen Intel Core i7s and i9s and gradually degrading (or outright failing catastrophically). In the case of the i7 and i9s though, that starts to exhibit itself with massive heat problems under load first - often meaning that the BIOS of the system hasn't been updated to resolve Intel's overvolting problem in the CPU scaling. For the normal use case of LFS, Vinay, you should be safe to build. Running the GMP tests should be okay as long as you don't run them constantly in a loop.
