ALFS build failing on glibc-2.43 with undefined SHADOW_STACK_POINTER_OFFSET and SEM_T_ALIGN

I am testing out a ALFS build setup to eventually build LFS/BLFS 14.0 when its
is released.
In my current test setup my ALFS is configured to use "trunc" so should be the
latest current snap shot.
The processor I am targetting is a Ryzen 7 ia 445 on a ASUS VIVO laptop.
Everything goes OK until I reach section 803 when it fails with undefined
references to SHADOW_STACK_POINTER_OFFSET and SEM_T_ALIGN.

From what I have read online this is something to do with intel/AMD Control-
flow Enforcement Technology (CET) that is being incorrectly detected and
included in the glibc-2.43 build.
Is this a correct statement and if so what can I do about it.

I have had a search through the LFS archive for the last nine months and I
cannot see anything relevant to my issue so I may be well off track with my
thinking.
The host system I am using is basically a recovery system using 11.3 SystemD
with a 7.1.4 kernel, I had to upgrade the kernel to get the laptop to boot and
provide a workable environment.
