Just completed LFS-13.0 Tested on both RPI 5 and RPI 4 Boots to both rpi4 and rpi 5 Disk layout: partition 1 /boot vfat partition 2 btrfs with subvolumes System and Home partition 3 swap It mounts System subvolume as the / filesystem and mounts Home subvolume at /home. I have started blfs 13.0 and completed the "Post LFS" step The above was built on a rpi 5 16GB nvme drives using the following flags: #CFLAGS='-march=armv8-a+crc -mtune=cortex-a72 -O2 -pipe' CFLAGS='-mcpu=cortex-a72 -O2 -pipe' CXXFLAGS="$CFLAGS -Wp,-D_GLIBCXX_ASSERTIONS" LDFLAGS="-Wl,-O1 -Wl,--sort-common -Wl,--as-needed -Wl,-z,relro -Wl,-z,now -Wl,-z,pack-relative-relocs" MAKEFLAGS="-j$(nproc)" NINJAJOBS="$(nproc)" export CFLAGS CXXFLAGS LDFLAGS MAKEFLAGS NINJAJOBS Minimal changes/ modifications were needed/necessary. Scripted build that will be able to use those scripts as is to build the next stable version when it comes out. I can help anyone who wants to build LFS for rpi 3 and above. -- Hindi madali ang maging ako -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/sympa/info/lfs-support Unsubscribe: See the above information page
