Unfortunately, due to Debian/hppa being in a bad shape,
I have no way to test this at the moment. Also, you
state that you think the compiler-generated code being
as good as the hand-written one when the latter were to
be updated to fix that bug; so I’ll keep removing that
file for now.

I’ve asked a friend who I know has an old hppa at home
to revive it, but that’s long-term.
