problems with the wireless network[s]...

Hello,

When I am at my college I am having trouble sometimes [not always] with
there wireless network. When I put my pcmcia card into the socket it
seems to immeadiatly recognise their ap and connect to it. When I run
dhclient to get an ip adress I get this..

which Id expect allthough the lease seems a little short. Maybe its
their server. However sometimes after 5 minutes later net stops working.
This does not happen all the time though. When it stops working and I
try dhclient again...

even if i eject the card and then it reassociates to the ap it will not
discover a dhcp adress. iwconfig or the little wireless monitor will
tell me I am connected to their ap and give me a signal strength. I have
an adaptec awn-8030 card and am using ubuntu linux with a 2.6.10 kernel
and the most recent wlan driver [pre26].I am not using wep and some more
information about the card

This only happens at my college with one exception. One day I went to
the seattle public library after college. I was having the same troubles
at the College so I went to the library to use the net there. I had the
same problems. Every other times the card worked there also. It is very
aggrivating and even if I reboot this problem doesnt go away. The page I
visit to get on the net at my school says aruba networks portal login so
I assume that has something to do with the manufacturer of the ap. 

Does anyone know what the problem Im having is and if there is a fix or
if I need to tweak some settings somewhere?
